Privacy Policy

How Lucky Ducks collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

  • Contact and account details: name, email, mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Google name and email if you sign in with Google
  • Delivery details: shipping address and pincode
  • Order details: items, sizes, amounts and order history
  • Payment details are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank login
  • Messages you send us through the Contact page or email
  • Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, needed to run and secure the site

Why we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, returns and refunds
  • To run your account, wishlist and saved addresses
  • To reply to your messages
  • To send drop announcements, only if you subscribed (unsubscribe any time)
  • To prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

Only what is needed, with service providers who help run the store: Razorpay (payments), courier and logistics partners (delivery), our email provider (order emails) and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or a lawful request from authorities.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure checkout, and your browser's local storage to remember your bag and wishlist. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Other data is deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Email luckyducksoff@gmail.com and we will respond within the timelines set by law. You can also update your profile and addresses in My Account.

Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and trusted payment partners to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private.
